A Combo Pack of Hair Goodness
Posted by Dee JA on 11th Jan 2016
After trying the Amla, Shikakai, and Henna separate... This single pack of goodness was amazing... I have 4C-Low porosity, graying hair and was prepared to cut everything off in the event of a disaster. However; I was so amazed that I decided that this is my baby. I boiled beets, boiled 10 Hibiscus tea bags, added this to my beets, boiled a bit longer, strained and let sit until warm. Added the henna packet into an IRON skillet, slowly added my liquid solution until Greek yogurt consistency.
I added a cup of non-protein conditioner, and finally lemon juice... I added until I got a plain yogurt consistency... I then covered it up and stored in a dark cabinet overnight (8-12 hours)... I opted to clarify and steam my hair the night before... I woke the next day and wet and squeezed out the excess water... Put it in a zip lock bag, cut the corner of the bag and applied it... Covered my hair with plastic wrap, a process bag, and a wool cap for most of the day... I had enough for my mom who happen to be 80% gray (her gray turned a beautiful auburn and the base was a rich dark auburn)... After six hours, I ran a full sink of warm water and loosened and rinse most of the solution out in 7-8 minutes... I did a deep condition and went to bed... Oh yeah! my hair was soft and I back to my regular routine... I will be using this product once a month as a dye and twice a month as a deep conditioner.... I actually opted not to color my gray patch in the very front of my head and it did not stain at all...
Will my hair turn black?

I have not used this product yet. I just finished making the paste to sit over night. The package makes me believe that my hair will turn black. I love black hair but with my skin tone I'd like my hair to be red. What color did yours turn out?
