I ordered black but received some light green powder instead. Five boxes wasted. I'm not inter in green hair. I will try one more time.

I was very pleased with the results--very black and quite long lasting. The delivery was quick and timely. The only thing I would change is perhaps more thorough directions, like should my hair be wet or dry, should it be very clean and what's the longest I can keep it on before washing it out. Also the boxes were squashed, it didn't hurt anything though.
Not safe to use

"PPD is considered safe for hairs and scalp."
"Kali Mehndi has very small amount of PPD, only 3% which is less than the 6% standard set by European Union. "
The UK is in the EU.
The London Borough of Ealing took the importer of this product to court in 2012 because it contains "potentially harmful banned chemicals" ( barium salt and PPD) .
He had to pay £3,000 .
All Black Rose Henna products were seized from any business they had supplied and further shipments from India were intercepted to prevent any more of the potentially dangerous dye from reaching consumers.
You say PPD is safe.
Yet the packaging says "Poison".
"PPD is the hair dye most often associated with allergic reactions to hair colorant products. Sensitivity or allergy to PPD may develop over time, which is why an allergy alert test must be carried out each time the hair is to be coloured."
